The Truth: Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player

We are a generation of streamers. What does that mean? It means we’re watching TV shows, movies and listening to music when we want to by streaming it.

We no longer go out and buys the latest album from our facourite artist, we simply log on to our favourite music service and stream it. What if there was a way for us to connect to all of those streaming services from all our devices without having to load a ton of different apps? What if we could use those devices to control what we’re watching on TV? That is what the Google Chromecast does. The idea is one simple way to connect to all of our favorite streaming services. That isn’t a bad idea. But is it any good?

The major advantage of the Google Chromecast is that it works with just about any Android, iOS, Mac or Windows device. That covers a pretty big share of the market. It is very easy to set it up. Most people stated they were able to get it up and running in 5 minutes or less…on multiple devices. Chromecast cover most major streaming services such as Netflix, HBO GO, Pandora and even YouTube.

It’s not all good, however, there are some major services missing. Amazon Prime Video is one service it would be nice to have support for, but there are other major services missing as well. If you’re looking for a device that allows you to stream your local video and audio files the Google Chromecast isn’t for you. There are workarounds, but it is not something that is inherently supported in the product.

Google Chromecast makes it easier to connect to many of the streaming services we already use. There are some that are missing, which you would hope would be supported in the future, but that’s just how it is. It is not a device that lets you easily stream local content. Google Chromecast does what it does, and does that well. If you’re looking for something like this it is a great product. It makes accessing streaming services very easy.

Cards Against Humanity - Time to Let Your Inner Demon Give Your Friends a Lapdance?

How do you describe “Cards Against Humainty?” It’s a card game. It’s a party game. The best description is probably the one they use on the package. “A party game for horrible people.” That kind of sets the tone doesn’t it?

On the surface “Cards Against Humanity” is a card game much like Apples for Apples. However, when you get into the gist of it, it is in fact very different. This game is about the ourtrageous. One person describes how her morality was disintegrated by the use of the word “Auschwitz.” If you don’t find something like that entertaining, you don’t want to get this game.

At the time of this writing the game has 5729 reviews on Amazon of which 93% are 5 star reviews. That’s impressive by any definition of the word. The positive reviews all talk of people having a great time in the company of friends.

The game encourages using terms that are offensive to a lot of people. It doesn’t claim to be politically correct. Even on the right side of what is morally acceptable. For that reason it is not for those who dislike dark humor or are easily offended.

As mentioned you’ll either hate or love this game. If you love it you may as well get the expansion packs while you’re at it. From the amount of positive reviews “Cards Against Humanity” are getting there is a good chance you’ll have a lot of fun. If this type of game is for you. If I had to give it a rating I would either give it 5 stars or 1 star. That’s how divisive this game is.

Are you ready to take a walk on the wild side? To let your inner demons give your friends a lapdance? If you are you need to get this game. If not, steer clear of it.

You were warned!
